Key Responsibilities
- Handle probate cases, including drafting and filing petitions, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage deadlines, correspondence, and filings related to probate matters.
- Conduct legal research on California probate laws and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court requirements.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years as a paralegal specializing in California probate work.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of California probate procedures and requirements.
- Skills: Proficiency in legal research, case management tools, and document drafting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Independence: Ability to work remotely and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
