Position Title: Legal Researcher

Shift days, hours and time zone: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm EST

English required: 9.0 to 10.0

Salary: 3.800.000 to 5.000.000 Colombian pesos

Level of study required: Bachelor’s degree in law.

Legal Researcher Utilize your expertise in legal databases, case law, and statutory research to gather and analyze relevant legal information. From conducting in-depth legal analysis to preparing briefs and memos, your skills will contribute to informed decision-making and the successful resolution of legal matters.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will: Conduct in-depth legal research on a wide range of legal topics and areas of law. Collect and analyze relevant data, legal documents, and case law to provide summaries and analysis. Organize and present research findings clearly and concisely.

Prepare legal briefs, reports, memoranda, and other documents as required. Collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal staff to support their legal research needs. Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents that may impact ongoing cases or projects.

Assist in drafting legal arguments, motions, and other legal documents. Provide recommendations and sound legal advice based on research findings. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in all research activities.





Deliver legal research materials on time to meet project deadlines.

Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills:

Essential skills and requirements: Bachelor’s degree in law. Minimum of 1 years of experience in legal research. Strong knowledge and understanding of legal processes, procedures, and regulations. Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and legal research software proficiency. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
