? About the Role

A well-established General Agency in the Tri-State area is seeking an Underwriting Specialist to join its team in a full-time, on-site capacity.

✅ Requirements

? Minimum 1 year of experience in Employee Benefits or a related field (US Based).

? English C1

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially:

? Responsibilities

? Gather census, claims, and plan information from current clients.

? Prepare accurate and detailed client presentations using Excel and other reporting platforms.

? Organize and submit requests to insurance carriers.

⏳ Manage the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, including:

- Tracking carrier questions.
- Coordinating carrier responses.
- Ensuring compliance with deadlines.

? Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier sales representatives.

? Develop and maintain knowledge of:

- Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
- Industry terminology, regulations, and best practices.
