"BILLING AGENT - Valley Women's HealthSeeking a proficient Billing Agent to join their team, responsible for managing and resolving billing inquiries and issues for our customers. The idóneo candidate will have strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, a deep understanding of US insurance processes, and technical proficiency with our EMR system, Greenway Prime Suite.This role involves extensive phone interaction, training on the phone system, and providing support to both customers and internal staff.TYPE OF WORK: On site - COL (Barranquilla, Medellin, Cali, Bucaramanga, Bogotá) - ARG (Cordoba) - MEX (Chihuahua) - GUA (Guatemala City) HondurasMAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

- Answer and manage incoming calls related to billing inquiries payments and litigation.
- Provide training and support on the telephone system, assisting colleagues by sitting with them during calls if necessary.
- Explain billing charges, account balances, and insurance terminology to patients.
- Facilitate bill payment over the phone and ensure accurate posting to patient accounts.
- Work closely with front office staff to ensure accurate and timely responses to patient inquiries.
- Manage billing disputes and escalate complex issues to billers or insurance representatives.
- Manage appeals and ensure that all necessary documentation is sent to the correct parties.




- Maintain accurate records and track outstanding issues, ensuring their resolution.QUALIFICATIONS- Proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal).
- Strong understanding of US insurance processes and terminology.
- Technical proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems, particularly Greenway Prime Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to de-escalate situations effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high call volumes.
- Patient, understanding, and able to handle stressful situations with a ""backbone"".
- High level of tech-savviness and comfort with navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a structured environment with specific metrics and performance tracking.REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a billing support or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of insurance portals and eligibility verification processes.SKILLS:
- 1+ years of accounting experience is required.
- Level of English: B2+/C1- Strong multitasking abilities to manage various tasks simultaneously.
