Once on board we nurture and promote talented individuals, making sure that senior positions are open to all.Discover the RoleAs an Accounting Assistant, you will support U.S.-based accounting operations, managing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close activities in compliance with US GAAP. You will collaborate with stakeholders ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely issue resolution. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in U.S. accounting standards while contributing to a dynamic, international accounting team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general accounting activities and reporting accurately and on a timely basis, including journal entry processing, accrual calculations, postings,
and allocation processing.Ensure the accurate reconciliation of reports and balance sheet accounts.Assist with month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations.Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, company policies, and procedures.Coordinate with local offices and internal stakeholders through workflow tools and email communications to resolve issues and inquiries.Respond promptly to user queries, providing support, follow-up, and escalation of identified issues when necessary.Contribute to team objectives by meeting daily productivity and accuracy targets.Drive continuous process improvements and share best practices across the team.Support the team in achieving performance goals and overall business objectives.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or currently pursuing the final semesters of an Accounting degree (required).Minimum of 2 years of experience managing the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting.Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (required).Knowledge of US GAAP is considered a strong asset (nice to have).What’s in it for you?An international and dynamic environment.Exceptional people and atmosphereBusiness Academy: Online platform with multiple learning resources such as trainings and written materials.Local benefits apply according to local office policies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
