at all timesFollow the Resort Etiquette Guidelines while interacting with the guests and respond to all guests in a courteous efficient mannerFollow established health and safety procedures for using cleaning chemicals and adhere to all safety policiesAssist the banquet department during functions as neededCompliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS2 years of previous work history/education requiredBasic knowledge and skills in a routine banquet environment, desirableMust understand and expedite room set diagramsKnowledge of banquet room set up types, preferredPrior food and beverage experience, preferredMust have basic math skills for measurements of equipment and space and how to best utilizeInteract and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standardsMust have Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate or must attend a Colorado approved alcohol server training educational seminar within 30 days of employmentMust have current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Handler and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employmentEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentThe base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position.
