The Messaging Team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Twilio’s core messaging infrastructure, which powers SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, and other communication channels used by customers globally. The team provides hands-on support to customers by guiding them through the configuration of various sender types—including long codes, short codes, and toll-free numbers—and assists with critical number registration processes such as A2P 10DLC campaigns, WhatsApp Business Profile onboarding, and compliance with country-specific sender ID requirements. Additionally, the team proactively monitors and analyzes messaging traffic, identifying anomalies or delivery issues through log reviews and performance dashboards.
