About Maventi Group

Maventi Group is a US-based holding company with a portfolio of operating businesses across freight forwarding, customs brokerage, logistics, and home services. Our finance team is small, close-knit, and high-accountability, supporting several distinct businesses on one set of systems. We are adding a nearshore staff accountant to own the day-to-day transactional accounting so our senior finance team can focus on reporting, controls, and growth.

We already have team members in Colombia and value the work ethic, engagement, and professionalism they bring. This is a remote role for an accountant based in Colombia, working US Central business hours in close collaboration with our US-based CFO and revenue operations lead.

The Role

You will run the recurring accounting work across several US-based operating entities inside our US accounting systems and under US GAAP. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who is reliable,



detail-driven, and comfortable owning a queue of work to completion without being chased. You will report directly to the CFO and work daily alongside our US finance team, so English fluency and real-time responsiveness during US Central hours are essential.

What You Will Do
- Process accounts payable across multiple entities: enter, code, and schedule invoices accurately
- Support accounts receivable: invoicing, application of payments, and follow-up
- Perform daily and monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries under US GAAP
- Maintain the general ledger and enforce consistent coding and documentation
- Support monthly close across several entities, including intercompany transactions
- Keep clean, audit-ready records and organized supporting documentation
- Flag discrepancies, exceptions, and anything unusual to the CFO promptly
