Controller – Family Office

At Shareholder Services we're looking for a skilled
Controller
who can lead accounting, reporting, and financial management with accuracy and integrity across a growing, multi-entity family office.

?What you'll do
- Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including reconciliations and financial statements
- Build and maintain internal controls and accounting processes that scale with a high-growth, multi-entity structure
- Manage cash, banking operations, and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Support the President and CFO with financial analysis on investments, budgeting, and forecasting
- Lead process improvement and adopt AI-enabled tools to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Directly manage and mentor a team of 3 accounting professionals





?What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or Master's a plus)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally spanning individual, trust, LLC, partnership, corporate, or investment/private equity accounting
- 2–3+ years directly managing and developing accounting teams
- Strong US GAAP knowledge, multi-entity consolidations, and intercompany accounting
- Experience with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
- Prior experience with US-based or multinational companies
- English B2+ Must communicate clearly and effectively, in English, with U.S.-based leadership, departments, and portfolio/affiliate companies
