Investigator Compliance Officer (Colombia)Overall Description: To help uphold Lenovo's core values of integrity and trust, we are seeking an experienced Investigator and Compliance Officer to join our global Ethics Compliance team.This role plays a critical part in protecting Lenovo's culture by leading sensitive internal investigations, partnering with global stakeholders, and strengthening our ethics and compliance program. In addition to investigation responsibilities, this position will also serve as Lenovo Colombia's designated Compliance Officer, leading the local compliance program for anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and related regulatory requirements.Based in Colombia, this position reports to the Senior Manager, Investigations - Legal, Ethics Compliance.This role will support the success of the ethics and compliance program and have responsibility for the following initiatives:Investigator ResponsibilitiesIndependently lead comprehensive, objective, fact-based internal investigations into allegations of misconduct, policy violations, and potential legal or regulatory breaches.Conduct professional investigative interviews of personnel and third parties, which may involve sensitive topics.Author clear, detailed, objective, fact-based reports of assigned investigations, and maintain well-organized, accurate, and complete case files.Build and maintain effective working relationships with business functions of Lenovo’s Investigation Oversight Committee, and members of Legal, Employee Relations, Internal Audit, IT,



and Security.Work collaboratively with members of the Ethics and Compliance Office on various general initiatives to enhance the Ethics and Compliance program.Serve as Lenovo Colombia's designated Compliance Officer and lead the local SAGRILAFT/PTEE compliance program.Compliance Officer ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation, ongoing oversight, and continuous improvement of Lenovo Colombia's anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and SAGRILAFT/PTEE compliance program.Monitor compliance with applicable Colombian regulatory requirements and Lenovo global policies, including conducting compliance risk assessments, overseeing due diligence activities, and implementing appropriate compliance controls.Coordinate compliance investigations involving money laundering, corruption, bribery, or other regulatory matters, including assessing escalation and external reporting obligations where required.Partner closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Internal Audit, and business leaders to strengthen compliance controls and promote an ethical culture.Prepare and deliver compliance reporting, communications, and training to senior leadership and employees to support awareness and continuous improvement.Maintain appropriate compliance documentation, records, and reporting in accordance with Colombian regulatory requirements.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience independently leading investigations on behalf of a corporate legal team,



compliance team or a law enforcement agency.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.Experience in corporate compliance, ethics, anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC), fraud, financial crime, or related compliance functions.Must be eligible to serve as Lenovo Colombia's designated Compliance Officer under applicable Colombian regulations.Knowledge of compliance risk management, corporate governance principles and Colombian SAGRILAFT/PTEE requirements.Availability to work in a hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.Preferred QualificationsProfessional fluency in Brazilian Portuguese (written and verbal) is a plus.Prior experience in investigations related to ethics and compliance areas, including anti-bribery/anti-corruption, fraud, embezzlement, financial controls, conflicts of interest, harassment, and fair competition.Demonstrated integrity and a commitment to the highest ethical standards and values, including proven ability to maintain confidentiality.Previous experience serving as a Compliance Officer or leading a corporate compliance program.Experience engaging with regulators or supporting regulatory reporting requirements.Experience designing and delivering compliance training and awareness initiatives.Experience conducting compliance risk assessments and implementing compliance controls.This role is based at our Bogotá office, located at Cl. 99 #14‑49.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.#J-18808-Ljbffr
