Position Summary
BYDREC is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our client’s team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of web/SaaS and mobile applications.
This is a manual-testing-first role for a technically capable QA professional who is comfortable working across functional, exploratory, regression, and integration testing, while also using Python for test scripts, data validation, and automation.
The adecuado candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable investigating complex issues, and able to clearly document and communicate defects. Experience using modern AI coding tools such as Claude, Codex, or similar agentic coding tools is required.

Responsibilities
Perform hands-on manual testing of web, SaaS,



and mobile applications.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
Reproduce, investigate, and document software defects with clear and actionable details.
Validate application behavior across different environments and use cases.
Write and maintain Python scripts for test automation, data validation, and other QA activities.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues.
Support automation efforts and contribute to improving testing efficiency and coverage.
Use API testing tools and technologies to validate backend services and integrations.
Analyze test results and communicate findings effectively.
Leverage AI-powered coding and development tools to improve testing, scripting, and automation workflows.
