Responsibilities may include:
- Manage medical reception tasks (calls, emails, correspondence)
- Verify insurance and handle prior authorizations
- Schedule appointments and update EHR/EMR systems
- Collect co-payments and outstanding balance if applicable
- Other medical administrative duties
Qualifications:
- A degree OR some units in allied medical course is preferred
- At least 6 months experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant
- At least 6 months experience as a CSR
- 2+ years bilingual (English & Spanish fluency required)
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Knowledge of US healthcare private insurance (e.g. Medicaid, Medicare)
Tech Requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet, updated computer/laptop, webcam, and headset
Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and scheduling platforms
