Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Process Consultant to join our Automation team. This role is critical in
identifying, documenting, and optimizing business processes
—primarily within
finance and accounting environments
—to prepare them for automation initiatives (RPA, AI, and workflow solutions).

The Process Consultant will work closely with clients and internal technical teams to ensure processes are
standardized, optimized, well-documented, and automation-ready
, driving efficiency and value across client operations.

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Improvement
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with clients to understand current-state processes (AS-IS).
- Analyze finance-related workflows such as
AP, AR, reconciliations, procurement, reporting, and billing
.
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and manual dependencies in business processes.
- Design optimized TO-BE processes with a focus on
standardization, scalability, and automation readiness
.

Documentation & Standardization
- Create clear and structured documentation:




- Process maps (flowcharts)
- SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Business requirement documents (BRDs)
- Ensure processes are standardized across regions, systems, and teams before automation implementation.
- Define business rules, exceptions, and data requirements.
- Create To-Be Process Maps (flowcharts)
- Create PDD (Process Design Document) as a baseline for automation.

Automation Readiness & Collaboration
- Work closely with RPA developers, Solution Architects, and Project Managers to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Support the identification of automation opportunities and build business cases (ROI, effort savings).
- Participate in solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Client Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for clients during discovery and analysis phases.
