Position Summary

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats. You’ll collaborate with IT and cyber security professionals to monitor, analyze, and respond to incidents, ensuring systems and data remain secure and compliant with industry standards.

Required Education & Experience
- ? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4+ years experience).
- ? Entry-level cyber security certification preferred (Security+, CEH, or equivalent).
- ? Non-traditional educational paths and relevant training programs are valued.

Preferred Qualifications
- ☁️ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- ? Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- ? Familiarity with scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell).

Threat Monitoring:
Continuous monitoring of traffic, logs, and alerts.

Incident Response:
Investigate alerts, breaches, and intrusions.

Vulnerability Management:
Review and mitigate weaknesses.

Reporting:
Document tickets, audits, and compliance reports.
- ⚙️
Security Tools Operations:
Improve productivity of cyber security tools.
- ?
Collaboration:
Partner with IT and product teams on risk mitigation.

Training & Awareness:
Communicate security concepts to peers.
