About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting / Bookkeeping Specialist to support the financial operations of a growing U.S.-based construction company.

The idóneo candidate has strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. Experience working with U.S. companies and/or within the construction industry is highly preferred.

This position is initially part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean up and maintain company books in QuickBooks Online
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Review, categorize, and record financial transactions accurately
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Track vendors and subcontractors
- Support invoice and payment tracking
- Assist with job costing and project expense tracking




- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Identify discrepancies and assist with resolving accounting issues
- Support ongoing bookkeeping and accounting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial information

Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience is required
- Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Knowledge of A/P and A/R processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to independently manage accounting tasks and deadlines
- Experience working with U.S.-based companies preferred
- Construction accounting experience is a strong plus
- Experience with job costing and project-based accounting is preferred
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
