About the Role

As a
Leave of Absence Specialist
, you will assist clients with medical leave of absences across multiple U.S. states. You’ll manage cases end-to-end, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and provide outstanding support to employees, managers, and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities
- ? Coordinate all leaves, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- ? Provide exemplary customer service to employees, managers, and HR teams.
- ? Respond promptly to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- ? Determine leave eligibility, review medical certifications, and maintain accurate records.
- ? Draft and deliver required communications (letters, forms, notices).




- ? Track LOA usage and update HRIS systems.
- ⚖️ Administer FMLA and state-mandated leaves.
- ? Investigate potential fraudulent leave activity and escalate issues as needed.
- ? Meet departmental production standards and support reporting needs.

Skills & Qualifications
- ? Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ? 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in LOA management.
- ? Knowledge of employment laws and multi-state regulations.
- ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- ? Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures.
- ?️ Bilingual (English B2 minimum; Spanish preferred).
- ? Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- ⚡ Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
