About the Role
We are seeking a skilled accounting analyst to be part of our diverse, multinational team. In this role, you will ensure financial accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and support audits—all within an international corporate framework.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or technical certification in accounting with at least tree years of relevant experience.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of journal entries, payroll administration, social security management, IFRS standards, accounts receivable/payable, inventory control, and fixed asset management.
- Financial Reporting: Experience handling official submissions and financial reports.
- Compliance & Audits: Skilled in managing exogenous reporting, beneficial ownership data, and supporting internal/external audits, management of national and district taxes.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office suite for financial data management.
- Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required): Familiarity with World Office Software, accounting tools, and SAP financial modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including, journal entries, payroll administration, social security management, taxes, IFRS standards, accounts receivable and payable, inventory control, and fixed asset management.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company procedures
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, income tax support schedules, and other local tax obligations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax audits and inspections.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Process and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll-related accounting entries.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis by providing accurate accounting information.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Prepare national and district-level external data (Información Exógena)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and tax-related issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with established deadlines.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation.
