Looking for My First Right-Hand Person in Colombia — Part-Time to Start
Remote | Medellín or Bogotá | English + Spanish
I'm looking for one person in Colombia to work directly with me while I build and grow a new software company.
This isn't a normal assistant job, and I'm not looking for someone who just wants a list of tasks every morning.
I'm looking for someone who wants to get in early, work side-by-side with me, learn the business, and see how far we can take it.
We'll start small and part-time.
At first, I need help staying organized, following up on things, handling day-to-day work, researching, helping new customers get set up, and making sure things don't get forgotten while I'm running my existing businesses and building the new one.
I'm not starting from just an idea.
I own Layton's Garage, a South Florida repair shop that's been around since 1952, as well as Graveyard Classics, where we work on classic cars, restorations, restomods and some pretty interesting projects.




The new software company is being built from problems I've experienced firsthand running these businesses. We're starting with automotive businesses in the U.S., but what we're building has the potential to go into other industries and countries.
So if you're someone who genuinely likes cars, classics, restorations or the automotive world, you'll probably enjoy being around what we're doing. It's definitely a plus, but you don't have to be a car expert.
I don't want to build a huge corporate team right now.
I'd rather find one really good person who believes in what we're doing and wants to figure things out with me.
Someone I can eventually say:
"Here's what we're trying to accomplish. Let's figure out how to make it happen."
You might help me onboard a software customer one day, research something for Layton's or Graveyard Classics the next, work on SEO or marketing, use AI to solve a problem, help organize a sales campaign, or simply make sure I actually do something I said I was going
