We are looking for a highly experienced construction professional with a strong background in concrete structures, ground-up construction, and estimating to support a U.S.-based construction company.

This position does not require a Civil Engineering degree. Candidates may come from technical, construction, estimating, or engineering-related backgrounds, as long as they have hands‑on experience with the responsibilities listed below.

The role will begin as fully remote and transition into a hybrid position based in Medellín as the client’s local operation grows.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for concrete and structural construction projects
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
- Review and analyze plans, sections, and details related to structural concrete
- Use Tekla Structures to support structural modeling, coordination, and quantity extraction
- Utilize Bluebeam for digital takeoffs, measurements, and plan review
- Support ground‑up construction projects, including foundations, slabs, columns,



and structural elements
- Collaborate directly with U.S.-based teams (estimators, project managers, engineers)
- Assist with bid preparation, scope reviews, and preconstruction activities
- Maintain organized estimating files and clear documentation

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in concrete construction and/or structural projects
- Strong background in estimating and quantity takeoffs
- Prefer Hands‑on experience using Tekla Structures
- Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar takeoff tools
- Experience with ground‑up / site construction projects
- Advanced English level (C1 or higher) – required for daily communication with U.S. teams
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
