Medical Receptionist (Onsite) | Colombia

Work Modality: Onsite Locations: Medellín, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Cali, Armenia, or Ibagué Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM CST | Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review incoming medical documentation and faxes.
- Confirm patient appointments via phone and email.
- Send progress notes and other medical documentation as required.
- Contact patients for follow-ups and review requests.
- Upload and maintain information within healthcare management systems.
- Answer patient phone calls and provide assistance regarding:
- Appointment preparation instructions.
- Prescription coordination with pharmacies.
- General inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Deliver a professional, empathetic,



and high-quality patient experience.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, hospital, healthcare center, or similar environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures.
- Experience communicating with patients by phone and email.
- Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems, databases, and healthcare software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard office applications.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach.

Preferred Skills
- Experience handling medical records and documentation.
