Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will work exclusively within the CAPEX accounting area, supporting the accurate accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance of capital expenditure, fixed assets, and capital projects. We are looking for someone with strong CAPEX accounting knowledge under local GAAP, primarily IFRS. Where direct CAPEX experience is more limited,



we would expect strong overall IFRS knowledge and the ability to apply this to CAPEX-related accounting matters. This role is suited to an experienced finance professional who is comfortable working with statutory reporting requirements and wants to develop further within a specialised CAPEX accounting environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the CAPEX accounting process, including the recording, classification, and reporting of capital expenditure in line with statutory requirements and internal policies
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements and disclosures related to fixed assets and capital projects, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or local GAAP as applicable)
- Provide support and guidance on statutory accounting matters related to CAPEX, including technical issues, policy developments, and process improvements
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and operational
