The Job:
The External Data Process Manager will lead a dedicated team responsible for managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for external data sources, including point-of-sale (POS) data from key integral customer accounts. This role is essential in ensuring that data used by critical business units remains accurate, reliable, and technically stable. In addition to overseeing these processes, the manager will foster a supportive team environment to uphold high standards of operational excellence. You’ll get to:




- Manage ETL process of external data to ensure accuracy and reliability:
- Data acquisition: Collaborate with customer accounts to acquire data on a scheduled basis and verify it is in a usable format.
- Data Staging:Stage data, resolve load errors, and ensure completeness; coordinate with internal teams to maintain accurate data cleansing and cross-referencing.
- Data Loading:Load data into analytics and reporting systems, confirming successful integration.- Resolve data issues by working directly with internal partners and customers.
- Drive process improvements by identifying and implementing initiatives such as load timing optimization, enhanced data cleansing, and improved documentation.
- Perform regular mass validations during critical period ends to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
