WorldCraft Logistics WCL is looking for a Freight Brokerage Dispatcher Carrier Coordinator to join our team.

The adecuado candidate has experience in U.S. freight transportation, dispatch, freight brokerage, or carrier coordination and is comfortable working in a fastpaced logistics environment. This position will be responsible for sourcing and coordinating thirdparty carriers, negotiating rates, dispatching and tracking shipments, and maintaining communication with carriers, customers, ports, rail terminals, warehouses, and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities
Source and coordinate qualified thirdparty carriers for U.S. freight shipments.
Negotiate carrier rates while maintaining competitive pricing and protecting company margins.
Dispatch and track shipments from pickup through final delivery.
Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with carriers, customers, warehouses, ports, and rail terminals.
Provide proactive shipment updates and communicate delays or operational issues.
Monitor Last Free Day LFD, port and rail requirements, appointments, storage exposure, demurrage, per diem, and other timesensitive requirements.
Coordinate drayage, intermodal, FTL and LTL shipments as required.
Identify and communicate accessorial charges such as detention, layover, storage, chassis, redelivery, and TONU.
Verify carrier authority, insurance, safety compliance status, and required documentation before assigning loads.
Prepare and maintain rate confirmations, dispatch instructions, carrier information, and shipment records.
Resolve carrier falloffs, missed appointments, capacity issues, equipment problems, and other transportation exceptions.
Obtain and review PODs, BOLs, interchange documents, receipts, and other shipment documentation.
Review carrier invoices against agreed rates and approved accessorial charges.




Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable carriers and continuously expand WCLs carrier network.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, carrier sales, transportation coordination, or U.S. logistics preferred.
Experience with U.S. trucking operations strongly preferred.
Knowledge of drayage, ports, rail intermodal, containers, FTL and or LTL transportation is highly desirable.
Understanding of carrier onboarding, insurance requirements, operating authority, rate confirmations, accessorial charges, and freight documentation.
Experience using TMS platforms, load boards, carrier compliance tracking tools, PortPro, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams is a plus.
Strong negotiation and problemsolving skills.
Ability to manage multiple active shipments and priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Professional communication skills when working with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
English proficiency required, both written and spoken.

The right candidate should understand the urgency of transportation operations and be able to react quickly to carrier issues, port rail delays, missed appointments, and other shipment disruptions while maintaining professional communication.

Experience working directly with U.S. carriers and U.S. freight operations will be especially valuable for this position.
