We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Officer to join our team at Calop, a leading freight and logistics company. The Dispatch Officer will be responsible for efficiently coordinating the pickup and delivery of orders, ensuring timely communication with shippers, and maintaining accurate records of all shipments.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process customer orders, ensuring all necessary information is obtained.

• Contact shippers to coordinate pickups and gather any missing information required for shipment processing.

• Reschedule pickups as necessary and closely monitor and report the status of each shipment to the customer.

• Verify the profit margin of each shipment in the command center system to ensure accuracy.

• Contact carriers for uncollected shipments and promptly inform customers of any delays or issues.

• Execute daily confirmed dispatches in the command center system.

Maintain an updated Excel spreadsheet with comprehensive information on all shipments.





• Responsively address all customer requirements and inquiries.

Requirements:

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, shippers, and carriers

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with command center systems and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues

Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred.
