Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM professional to support the ongoing health, stability, configuration, and production operation of a large Workday environment. This is a hands-on contract role combining functional Workday configuration with technical and integration-facing production support.
The adecuado candidate has deep Workday Core HCM experience and is comfortable owning day-to-day platform issues, maintaining configuration, troubleshooting business processes and integrations, supporting worker lifecycle processes, and identifying sustainable solutions to recurring production problems.
Enterprise Experience Strongly Preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operational health and stability of Workday Core HCM and related worker lifecycle capabilities.
- Investigate and resolve functional configuration and technical production issues.
- Troubleshoot failed or incorrect Workday business processes, transactions, configuration, security assignments, and unexpected system behavior.
- Identify recurring production issues and implement sustainable fixes that reduce repeated manual intervention.
- Support incident resolution and root-cause analysis for production-impacting issues.
- Maintain Workday configuration health and help identify areas of functional or technical debt.
- Configure and maintain functionality supporting worker and contingent worker lifecycle processes, organizations, supervisory structures, staffing changes, job changes, business processes, security assignments, and foundational worker and organization data.
- Troubleshoot business process routing, condition rules, notifications, validations, security, and related configuration.
- Support troubleshooting of inbound and outbound Workday integrations and system-to-system data flows.
- Help determine whether integration-related issues originate in Workday configuration, integration logic, data, or external system behavior.
