The Role
The Junior Controllership Analyst will support the Finance Controller with analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts, financial transaction processing, variance investigation, and monthly closing activities. The role also contributes to improving accounting processes, policies, and systems.
Work arrangement: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and summarise data relating to balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist with verifying and posting financial transactions, including deposits, payments, and charges.
- Identify discrepancies and investigate variances within accounting reports.
- Analyse balance sheet, profit and loss,
and consolidated financial statements.
- Support monthly and period-end closing activities.
- Research accounting issues and gather relevant financial data.
- Assist with developing and recommending solutions to accounting issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
