We are currently seeking an experienced
Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (English & Spanish)
to support a U.S.-based medical practice.

This is a patient-facing position, so we are looking for someone who communicates professionally, confidently, and compassionately in
both English and Spanish
and has a strong understanding of medical front-desk workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage inbound/outbound patient calls
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking patients
- Handle patient inquiries according to established practice protocols
- Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification
- Manage referrals and follow-ups
- Assist with prescription/refill requests according to practice workflow
- Monitor and manage faxes, messages, and assigned inbox tasks
- Update patient demographics and information in the EHR
- Document patient communications accurately
- Coordinate with providers and office staff
- Follow practice-specific scripts, SOPs, and escalation protocols




- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Requirements:
- Fluent/professional
English and Spanish
- Strong spoken English with clear communication skills
- Previous experience as a
Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, Medical Front Desk Assistant, or Healthcare VA
preferred
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare workflows
- Experience working with an EHR/EMR system preferred
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Reliable internet connection and computer
- Ability to work according to
U.S. Eastern Time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written SOPs
- HIPAA knowledge/training preferred

Selection Process:

Shortlisted applicants will participate in an internal screening followed by a
video interview with the medical practice/provider
before final selection.
