POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving
room revenue, occupancy, group business, partnerships, and overall commercial performance
for Socialtel Colombia.

The role will develop and execute sales strategies targeting
leisure, corporate, groups, MICE, travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, wholesalers, and local partnerships
, while positioning Socialtel as a leading social hospitality and lifestyle accommodation brand.

The successful candidate must have
proven hospitality sales experience
and a strong understanding of the Colombian tourism and hospitality market.

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute the property's annual and monthly sales strategy.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and target markets.
- Develop strategies to increase occupancy, ADR, room revenue, and ancillary revenue.
- Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand.
- Develop business plans for key market segments.




- Work closely with the General Manager and Commercial team to achieve revenue targets.

2. Corporate & Local Sales
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate accounts and local businesses.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, and property inspections.
- Identify companies with potential accommodation and event requirements.
- Negotiate commercial agreements within approved parameters.
- Develop repeat and long-term business relationships.
- Maintain accurate account profiles and sales activity records.

3. Leisure, Travel Trade & Tourism
- Develop relationships with:
- Travel agencies
- Tour operators
- DMCs
- Wholesalers
- Online travel partners
- Tourism organizations
- Local experience providers
- Identify international and domestic source-market opportunities.
- Develop partnerships that generate room nights and ancillary revenue.
