Role Description The Chief Executive Officer at Gimnasio Contemporáneo is a full-time, on-site role based in the Bogotá D.C. Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, setting institutional priorities, and overseeing the implementation of long-term plans aligned with the school’s mission and values. The Chief Executive Officer will supervise senior administrative staff, manage budgets and financial performance, and ensure efficient operation of all academic, administrative, and support functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading key meetings, making data-informed decisions, cultivating relationships with families, students, staff, and external partners, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. The role also involves representing the institution in public forums, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering an inclusive, student-centered culture.

Demonstrated experience in Administrative Assistance and Office Administration to oversee organizational processes, documentation, and coordination across departments.
Customer Service capabilities focused on serving students, families, and staff with empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism.
Accounting knowledge to interpret financial reports, participate in budgeting, and support sound financial decision-making.
Proven leadership experience in education or a related sector, with a track record of managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
