As a Global Compensation Manager at Worldpanel by Numerator, you will lead the ongoing evolution, enablement, and execution of our global compensation programs and philosophy. You will build on the strong foundation already in place—simplifying processes, strengthening global consistency, and helping leaders and employees understand and confidently apply our compensation philosophy.
You will lead the Compensation team and partner closely with Talent leadership and the CHRO to ensure our programs and communications are aligned, practical, and responsive to business needs.
Located in our Bogotá, Colombia office, this is a hybrid position.
What You’ll Do:
- Evolve & Enable Our Compensation Philosophy: Own and continuously improve Numerator’s established global compensation philosophy, ensuring it remains competitive, equitable, practical, and aligned with our business and talent strategies.
- Simplify & Strengthen Global Processes: Improve compensation processes, policies, tools, and documentation to reduce complexity and ensure our philosophy is applied consistently across general markets.
- Lead & Develop the Compensation Team: Provide clear direction and leadership to the team, building strong execution, analytical rigor, accountability, and effective communication of programs and changes.
- Educate & Communicate: Equip leaders and employees to understand and confidently apply our compensation philosophy. Translate complex concepts, decisions, regulatory changes, and business rationale into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
- Apply the Art & Science of Compensation: Combine market data, modeling, internal equity, financial considerations,
and business judgment to develop practical compensation solutions that meet evolving organizational needs.
- Partner & Influence Across the Organization: Build credibility at all levels, confidently navigate difficult compensation conversations, and partner closely with Talent leadership, the CHRO, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure decisions and communications are aligned.
Requisites:
- Compensation Expertise: progressive compensation or total rewards experience with strong knowledge of market pricing, salary structures, job architecture, leveling, benchmarking, pay equity, modeling, and annual compensation processes.
- Global Experience: Demonstrated experience managing compensation across multiple countries, balancing local market and regulatory requirements with a consistent global philosophy.
- People Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop compensation professionals while creating clarity, accountability, and strong execution.
- Exceptional Communication & Influence: Ability to simplify complex compensation concepts and communicate credibly with employees, managers, senior leaders, and executives—including through challenging or sensitive conversations.
- Business & Process Mindset: Strong analytical and business judgment with a track record of improving established programs, simplifying processes, strengthening governance, and driving adoption rather than unnecessarily reinventing solutions. Proficient in AI usage and platforms.
- Systems & Education: Strong proficiency with HRIS, compensation platforms, market data, and modeling tools. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; CCP, GRP, or comparable certification is a plus.
- Fluent english as this role reports directly to a director based in US.
