We are looking for a
Senior Data Engineer
with strong hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining modern data platforms using Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will focus on data migration, data integration, and data product enablement initiatives, helping organizations build scalable, governed, and well-documented data ecosystems.

The idóneo candidate combines solid data engineering expertise with a strong understanding of data modelling, metadata management, and data product documentation. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and metadata-driven architectures is highly valued. Documentation and ownership of data assets are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks using Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead and support data migration initiatives between enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake-based environments.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data models that support analytics, reporting, and data product consumption.




- Develop and manage metadata-driven solutions, ensuring data assets are discoverable, governed, and reusable.
- Create, maintain, and enhance YAML-based configurations, metadata definitions, and deployment artifacts.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation for data products, pipelines, operational processes, and platform capabilities.
- Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation practices, leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles where applicable.

Key Qualifications

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related data platform roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environments.
- Experience building data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, or equivalent GCP services).
