Comptroller

Compensation: $50,000,000/year COP
Time Commitment: 25-40 hours per week

The Comptroller oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and internal controls for RentWise Property Company’s 100-door residential portfolio. This role supports leadership with accurate reporting, strong controls, and practical financial insight.

Responsibilities
- Manage monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee AP, AR, owner distributions, and property-level accounting.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Maintain compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls.
- Partner with leadership on financial planning and decision-making.
- Improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.




- Property management accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

A hands-on financial professional who can support a growing property management company with disciplined reporting, reliable controls, and strong operational judgment.
