We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee accounts payable operations and ensure timely, accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial transactions.

The idóneo candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures while supporting a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Management: Supervise daily accounts payable operations, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.

Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and approve invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.

Vendor Management: Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies or account inquiries.

Payment Scheduling: Coordinate payment runs and ensure compliance with payment terms and company policies.

Financial Controls: Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

Reporting & Analysis: Prepare AP reports, aging analyses, and payment forecasts for management review.

Reconciliation Activities:



Reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies requiring investigation.

Team Leadership: Support, train, and guide accounts payable personnel while promoting efficiency and accuracy.

Audit Support: Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

Knowledge of invoice processing, payment cycles, vendor management, and account reconciliations.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Experience reviewing financial documentation and supporting audit processes.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience is highly preferred.

Experience supporting U.S.-based accounting operations is a plus.

Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.
