About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Developer who can own both iOS and Android applications for one of our U.S.-based fintech clients. You’ll take full ownership of the mobile experience — from architecture and implementation to app store deployment — in a lean, fast-moving environment where async collaboration and initiative are essential.

Responsibilities

- Architect, build, and maintain iOS and Android applications
- Own the full mobile development lifecycle from concept to app store release
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences
- Ensure app performance, quality, and security across both platforms
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Mentor other developers and support team growth

Requirements

- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience
- Proficient in Swift (iOS) and Java or Kotlin (Android)
- Comfortable working across both platforms independently




- Strong understanding of mobile UX patterns, performance optimization, and app store deployment
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Excellent English communication skills (B2 or above)

Nice to have

- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services apps
- Background at LatAm fintechs such as Addi, Nubank, Mercado Pago, Kueski, Creditas, RappiPay, or Global66
- Experience leading a team
- Familiarity with secure coding practices (data encryption, certificate pinning, biometric auth)
- DevOps exposure — CI/CD pipelines for mobile (e.g. Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
- AWS experience
- Experience with Stripe
- Spanish language skills
