The English School – Bogotá, Colombia is looking for a passionate and committed Physics Teacher – MYP to join our academic team.

We are seeking an educator who is passionate about science, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, ask questions, investigate, and apply their knowledge to real-world contexts.

About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons for MYP students, using inquiry-based approaches and a variety of teaching strategies and resources. The role also involves assessing student learning, providing meaningful feedback, supporting student wellbeing, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience in Physics at secondary/MYP level.
- English proficiency at C1 level or above.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




- Ability to design engaging, student-centred learning experiences.
- Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and student wellbeing.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community.
- Experience with the IB/MYP framework is highly desirable.
