Your Role and Responsibilities: Welcome to Acento Real Estate Partners!
The Investor Relations Analyst will play a key role within the Investor Relations team, sitting at the intersection of investor relations, capital raising support, and investor operations.
Your mission will be to support a broad range of IR activities, from developing investor materials and communications to supporting investor onboarding, investor service, reporting, and operational processes.
You will be cross-trained across the IR function and work closely with the VP of Investor Relations and Senior IR Analyst, gradually building full autonomy across the entire scope of the role.
As part of a boutique firm, you will have broad exposure to Acento Real Estate Partners and the opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of the business.
Key responsibilities include: Investor Relations Content & Analysis Produce and maintain core Investor Relations materials, including investor decks, teasers, DDQs, quarterly letters, benchmarking reports, and individual investment summaries.
Conduct research on industry trends, comparable funds, and market dynamics to support fundraising strategy and investor positioning.
Prepare talking points and presentation materials for investor meetings, board presentations, Town Halls, and the annual Investor Tour.
Gather, process, and synthesize internal and external data into clear, audience-tailored materials for different investor types and internal stakeholders.
Maintain competitive benchmarking and provide current insights into Acento's positioning relative to the market.
Support the development of marketing materials and narratives for new fundraising initiatives in coordination with the VP of Investor Relations.
Investor Communications & Events Own the production and delivery calendar for quarterly letters, Town Hall materials and videos, and individual investor summaries.
Support investor segmentation to ensure communications are delivered in the appropriate format according to investor type and geography.
Assist in planning and organizing investor events, roadshows, Town Halls, and other investor-facing activities.
Maintain Acento's digital brand presence, including LinkedIn and the company website, in coordination with the VP of Investor Relations and external creative support.
Investor Relations & Services Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors, responding to inquiries, documentation requests, and account updates in a timely and professional manner.
Manage investor portal updates and maintain accurate and up-to-date investor records in Salesforce.
Support capital call and distribution processes in coordination with Operations and fund administration, ensuring investors receive accurate and timely communications.
Support investor segmentation and communication processes based on investor type and geography.
Assist with investor events, roadshows, and Town Halls, ensuring relevant and accurate information is presented.
Operations, Technology & Process Improvement Document, maintain, and execute processes within the Investor Relations function to ensure consistency, continuity, and operational excellence.
Contribute to the development of AI-powered tools and workflow automation to reduce manual processes and increase team efficiency, particularly across onboarding, compliance tracking, and reporting.
Maintain and update Salesforce with accurate investor data, pipeline activity, and case management information.
Identify and drive process improvement opportunities that reduce errors, improve the investor experience, and increase operational efficiency.
Support special projects led by the VP of Investor Relations and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience 2–4 years of experience in investor relations, marketing/communications, or client service within financial services, asset management, or private equity.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, audience-tailored investor materials, including presentations, letters, and reports, under deadline pressure.
Familiarity with U.S. fund structures, including LPs, LLCs, Delaware entities, and offshore feeders, is a plus but not required.
Qualifications / Skills: Full professional fluency in English and Spanish — written and verbal — is required.
English is the primary working language: all investor communications, materials, and internal reporting are conducted in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Familiarity with investor portals or fund administration platforms (e.g., Juniper Square, DealCloud, or similar) is preferred.
Interest in and aptitude for AI tools and workflow automation is a strong plus.
Experience with Power BI, Canva, or Adobe Illustrator is valued but not essential.
Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize internal and external data into clear, audience-appropriate materials.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline.
Strong professional communication skills, with the ability to interact with U.S. and international high-net-worth investors, placement agents, and institutional partners.
Proactive, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential investor and financial information.
Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
Comfortable coordinating with U.S.-based counterparties and adapting to U.S. business hours as needed, particularly during active fundraising periods, fund closings, and the Investor Tour.
