We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. The adecuado candidate has strong hands-on experience with Java backend development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases. We are looking for someone who can work independently, understand existing systems quickly, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional engineering team.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java




Develop and enhance REST APIs supporting mobile applications and integrations with external systems
Work with MySQL, including data modeling, query development, optimization, and troubleshooting
Contribute to the design and evolution of scalable and maintainable backend and microservices architecture
Implement clean, reliable, secure, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices
Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues, and production problems
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, estimation, and solution design
Collaborate with mobile developers, product stakeholders, QA engineers, and other backend engineers to deliver end-to-end functionality
Contribute to automated testing, observability, logging, and overall application reliability
Leverage AI-assisted development tools where applicable to improve development productivity, code quality, testing, and problem-
