We are looking for a Junior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our modernization team and support the design, deployment, and maintenance of reliable and scalable infrastructure, while growing your skills in automation and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
Build a deep understanding of the current state of build and deployment processes and pipelines
Support the design, build, and maintenance of infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for the modernization team
Contribute ideas to the future automation architecture
Help ensure the reliability and scalability of systems through monitoring and performance optimization
Support platform and capability deployments in different environments
Assist in troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes across environments
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to help ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations
Help develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
Requirements
1+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and Helm
Understanding of networking with a focus on containerization
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Argo, and GitHub Actions
