The role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong Quarkus expertise to help modernize a hospitality and travel platform. You will design and enhance backend services, work closely with general teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative digital solutions.

Role Responsibilities

- Design and develop the backend booking engine, covering the core booking functionalities of the platform.
- Implement interline capabilities, including inventory synchronization, multi-carrier PNR management, and inter-airline settlement processes.
- Develop reward and loyalty functionalities, managing miles and loyalty points within a multi-carrier environment.
- Lead the migration of backend services from JBoss to Quarkus.
- Develop and expose services through our client digital API using REST/JSON standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system workflows and interfaces, supporting operational and maintenance teams.

Minimum Requirements

- At least 7 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Quarkus, including migration initiatives from JBoss.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON-based service design and integration. .




- Knowledge of airline reservation systems (PSS, GDS) is a plus.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and methodologies.
