Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Case Support: assist attorneys with PI case files from intake through resolution.
- Negotiation Files: support and manage negotiation files, including demand packages and documentation.
- Case Management: maintain and update case information in case management software.
- Client Communication: communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
- Phone Line Management: handle incoming and outgoing calls via designated phone line.
- Document Organization: organize and maintain legal documents and records.
- Scheduling: assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and case tracking.
- Compliance: ensure all tasks comply with California PI procedures and timelines.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
US Personal Injury experience is mandatory; California PI experience is a plus.
- Negotiation: experience working with negotiation files highly preferred.
- Software: familiarity with case management software (Clio, CasePeer, SmartAdvocate, etc.).
- Technical Skills: basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Bilingual: English/Spanish required.
- Organization: strong organizational and communication skills.
- Client Handling: comfortable managing a phone line and client communications.
