We are seeking an experienced Texas Personal Injury Litigation Paralegalwho is highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in Texas state court litigation procedures.Position SummaryThe Litigation Paralegal will work directly with our attorneys to manage personal injury cases from the filing of a lawsuit through trial.
The idóneo candidate has extensive experience with Texas civil litigation, understands Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, and can independently manage a high-volume litigation caseload.ResponsibilitiesManage a litigation caseload from suit filing through trial preparation.Draft and file pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests, discovery responses, and subpoenas.Prepare and electronically file documents through Texas eFile.Calculate and monitor litigation deadlines in accordance with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and court scheduling orders.Coordinate service of process and monitor returns of service.Organize medical records, billing records, and other case evidence.Prepare deposition notices, witness files, exhibit notebooks, and trial binders.Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial settings.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, expert witnesses,



and medical providers.Assist attorneys with mediation and trial preparation.Maintain accurate case management notes and ensure all deadlines are met.Review incoming pleadings and correspondence and take appropriate action.Support attorneys during trial as needed.QualificationsMinimum 2+ years of Texas personal injury litigation experience (required).
