Operations Analyst Overview ForUsAll is a fast-growing, VC-backed fintech company modernizing the $7T+ 401(k) market.
We combine retirement expertise with technology to build better ways for companies and their employees to manage and invest their retirement savings.
We were founded by industry veterans who previously helped transform retirement plans for Fortune 500 companies and are backed by leading venture capital and fintech investors.
About the Role We're looking for a full-time Operations Analyst based in Colombia.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of operations, data, and technology.
You'll learn the systems behind a financial operation that processes hundreds of millions of dollars each month, help ensure that those processes run accurately, and look for better ways to operate them.
A big part of the role is figuring out how AI and automation can make our team more effective.
We're not looking for an AI expert.
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious about these tools, already experiments with them, and enjoys turning repetitive or manual work into better systems.
You might use AI to investigate an operational issue, prototype an internal tool, analyze a large dataset, automate part of a workflow, or make a process easier for the next person to operate.
You will also work directly with our U.S.-based teams and clients, so strong communication and ownership matter just as much as technical curiosity.
What You'll Do Become an expert in the payroll and operational systems that process hundreds of millions of dollars each month.
Perform data audits, reconciliations, investigations, and reporting to make sure our operations remain accurate and reliable.
Identify repetitive, manual, or error-prone processes and find better ways to solve them.
Build and test lightweight automations and AI-assisted workflows.
Experiment with new AI tools and determine where they are actually useful - and where they are not.
Use SQL,
spreadsheets, and other tools to investigate problems and make operational decisions.
Work closely with product, engineering, customer success, and other U.S.-based teams.
Communicate directly with clients to troubleshoot issues, explain what happened, and provide clear and timely updates.
Document what you learn so that successful solutions can be repeated and scaled.
What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in operations, data analysis, consulting, finance, or another analytical role.
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and working knowledge of SQL.
Strong analytical instincts and attention to detail.
You enjoy getting to the bottom of why something happened rather than just fixing the symptom.
Professional-level written and spoken English, including the ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients.
A high level of ownership.
When you see something that could work better, your instinct is to investigate it and improve it.
Genuine curiosity about AI and automation.
You follow what is happening in the space, experiment with new tools, and have probably already found ways to use them in your own work or personal projects.
Comfort learning new tools without waiting for someone to teach you exactly how to use them.
Ability to operate well in a fast-moving environment where not every process has already been defined.
Especially Interesting to Us Built a small automation to eliminate repetitive work.
Used an LLM to analyze data, research a problem, write or debug code, or improve a workflow.
Experimented with APIs, workflow automation tools, coding assistants, or AI agents.Built a side project simply because you wanted to see whether something was possible.
We care much more about curiosity and evidence that you like building and experimenting than about having specific AI tools listed on your résumé.
Location This is a hybrid role based in Medellín, Colombia, with three days per week in our El Poblado office.
