Job DescriptionA client in the streaming/entertainment space is looking to hire a Sr. Software Engineer who specializes in React Native, to join their team. You will responsible for helping design and develop software using React Native for their streaming app running on multiple platforms (Website, iOS, Android, Fire TV Stick, and web-based CTVs like Samsung, Hisense, Vizio and LG). Key Responsibilities include:Develop connected TV, mobile and web app features using React NativeUsing Test Driven Development principles, build unit tests and automated functional tests using tools like Playwright, WebDriver API and AppiumWrite clean, maintainable, sharable and efficient cross-platform shared code with appropriate abstraction layers to accommodate the nuances of multiple platformsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new tools and technologies to maximize development efficiencyEnsure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications in various devices with both high and low performance hardwareIdentify and correct process bottlenecks, fix bugs and maintain CICD pipeline automation using NX Monorepo, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Helm and HarnessHelp maintain code quality, code organization and test automatization through regular updates to app packages and refactoring of codeWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
