We are seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Dispatcher to join our Transportation Operations team (Overnight shift). The adecuado candidate will have 4-5 years of relevant transportation or dispatch experience and the ability to independently manage the full lifecycle of active over-the-road freight movements.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary tactical point of contact for active over-the-road freight movements.Obtain real-time location updates for shipments through Track & Trace.Monitor shipments and confirm drivers are on schedule for pickups and deliveries.Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues independently and in a timely manner.Determine when escalation is required and follow appropriate escalation procedures.Respond to customer emails, questions, and inquiries professionally and promptly.Price and quote ad hoc shipments.Secure carrier capacity and coverage for ad hoc shipments.Quote, book, and coordinate shipments while ensuring operational requirements are met.Send and collect transportation documentation, including BOLs, PODs,



and other required documents.Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date shipment information in PCS TMS and Microsoft Excel.Manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.Handle complex shipment-related situations with minimal supervision.Support and mentor other dispatchers by sharing knowledge and best practices.Collaborate with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful shipment execution.Perform additional transportation and dispatch duties as assigned.Requirements4-5 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Dispatch, Freight Brokerage, or Transportation Operations.Strong experience with Over-the-Road (OTR) transportation operations.Proven ability to independently analyze and resolve complex operational issues.Experience with Track & Trace, carrier coordination, shipment coverage, and dispatch operations.Experience quoting and securing carrier capacity for ad hoc shipments.Strong knowledge of transportation documentation, including BOLs and PODs.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and make sound decisions under time constraints.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook/Email, Excel, Word, and Teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and chat platforms.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.#J-18808-Ljbffr
