We’re hiring a Quality & Sustainability Specialist to support our quality management systems and operations across LATAM. In this role, you will support the execution of GAR plans and projects, implement methodologies across our European businesses, and ensure compliance with the latest feed, food, regulatory, and customer requirements. Based in our Barranquilla office, Colombia, the position will involve travel between our various offices and suppliers. We are looking for a self-driven, results-oriented, and customer-focused professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who is humble, resilient, proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities. The idóneo candidate is methodical and analytical, with the ability to influence positive outcomes, solve problems, make sound decisions, and execute plans effectively with a strong sense of urgency. Excellent planning and organizational skills, combined with a collaborative mindset and a passion for achieving results, are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities




Represent GAR with customers and external stakeholders, promoting sustainable and traceable products.
Provide local support for training activities for Traders and Logistics teams.
Act as GAR Colombia’s main point of contact with Golden Agri International and the Jakarta Sustainability team.
Support GAR certifications (GMP+, RSPO, Kosher, Halal, etc.) and regulatory compliance.
Assist with internal audits, inspections, and supplier compliance requirements.
Ensure supplier profiling and reporting meet customer standards, including NDPE IRF, ISO, and market-specific certifications.
Support the Q&S; Manager in quality system improvements, process standardization, and SOP implementation across Europe and LATAM.
Strengthen supplier onboarding, sampling and monitoring processes, and product traceability.
Analyze and report quality, traceability, and sustainability data, including carbon emissions.
