At Publicis Production, based in Bogotá, Colombia, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance within digital, technology, or product development environments. The mission of this role will be to execute functional testing activities, ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of applications and digital solutions through the application of quality best practices, risk identification, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

- Execute quality assurance activities, including test case design, execution, maintenance, defect tracking, and functional validation.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to identify testing scenarios, coverage needs, and potential risks.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation to ensure adequate coverage of project requirements and business objectives.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development and project teams to support timely resolution.
- Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing for web and digital applications.
- Generate testing reports, execution results, and quality insights for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes and quality practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to maintaining QA documentation and best practices.




- Work effectively with both local and global teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment on quality expectations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance and functional testing.
- Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and test case design and execution.
- Experience working with defect management, ticketing, and tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and cross-browser environments.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of web services, APIs, and back-end technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher.
