Role Description The Proposal Specialist Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for developing high-quality technical and commercial proposals that support Emmaty’s energy and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, sales, and project teams to gather requirements, translating technical concepts in electrical and infrastructure engineering into clear proposal content, and ensuring compliance with federal and commercial solicitation guidelines. The role involves coordinating proposal schedules, managing inputs from various stakeholders, preparing cost and procurement-related sections,



and organizing supporting documentation.

The Proposal Specialist

Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of proposal templates, maintain a library of standard content, and help refine bid strategies to improve win rates.

Qualifications

- Strong proposal development skills, including Proposal Preparation and Proposal Writing, with experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Solid technical foundation with experience in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines relevant to energy, infrastructure, and smart systems.
- Knowledge of Sales processes, bid strategies, and customer relationship management in technical or engineering-driven environments.
- Understanding of Procurement practices, including vendor engagement, pricing structures, and coordination of materials or services for proposals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, organization, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) and familiarity with proposal management tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; experience in government contracting or infrastructure projects is a plus.
