Team Overview
You will join a multidisciplinary team of statisticians, data scientists, mathematicians, and modelers that transforms information into actionable insights and supports a variety of analytical projects at TransUnion. The team uses analytics and statistical modeling to solve business problems and help internal customers make informed decisions.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Lead complex analytical projects from problem definition through delivery, translating business questions into structured analytical approaches and meaningful insights.
- Develop and apply statistical models to address relevant business problems, including questions within the consumer lending environment.
- Evaluate data, summary statistics, and analytical results to identify underlying patterns and determine the most appropriate direction for further research.




- Manipulate and analyze large datasets using statistical programming tools and database queries.
- Communicate analytical concepts, methods, and findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences, including senior leaders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations that connect analytical findings to business needs and recommended actions.
- Manage project teams and deliverables by delegating work, establishing goals, providing coaching and feedback, and monitoring customer expectations.
- Guide and train junior analysts on analytical methods, project execution, and approaches to complex business questions.
- Lead project contributors with minimal supervision while maintaining engagement, initiative, and accountability.
- Build strong internal customer relationships through a responsive, service-oriented approach.
