Prestigious Chinese Company in the Telecommunications sector is looking for a Bilingual Service Support Engineer (high conversational level, you will have to speak with foreign bosses all the time), in Bogota.
Salary: $4.000.000 - $5.000.000 depending on profile. Indefinite contract

Job Description:
- Provides on-site support for the commissioning, maintenance and operation of fixed network products using GPON technology.
- Provide remote support, onsite support and guidance for FiberHome fixed network products to our customers.
- Continuous learning, practice, and summary to improve personal skills and knowledge.
- Collect the issues reported by the customers regarding and forward them to our R&D; team.
- Position offered for the city of Bogotá.
- Willing to travel.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electric engineering, communication engineering, computer science and technology, and related.
- Work experience in telecom operators (like Claro, Movistar,



Millicom, Emcali, ETB, etc.), or work experience in communication equipment suppliers (like HW, ZTE, Nokia, Cisco), providing broadband or telecommunications technical support.
- Good team communication and coordination skills, and good service awareness.
- Good English ability to communicate and report the issues. (B1 or B2)
- Have a particular understanding of TCP/IP Network systems.
- Have particular experience configuring networking devices such as routers or switches.
- Having technical experience with GPON Products (OLT and ONTs) is desirable and it will be a plus.
