What you'll do
- Prepare and review medium to high-complexity U.S. federal and state tax returns.
- Work with Individual (Form 1040) returns.
- Prepare and review Partnership (Form 1065) returns.
- Prepare and review S Corporation (Form 1120S) returns.
- Prepare and review Corporate (Form 1120) returns.
- Review tax work prepared by other professionals and provide technical guidance and mentoring.
- Research and resolve complex U.S. tax issues.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze tax information.
- Support tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize tax positions.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 6+ years of U.S.
tax preparation and review experience.
- Experience gained specifically within U.S.-based public accounting firms.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Ultra Tax.
- Experience with Quick Books Online.
- Proven experience reviewing tax returns and mentoring tax staff.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage complex tax engagements and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Active CPA license.
- Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
- Experience with complex tax matters.
- Multi-state tax filing experience.
- Previous experience operating at a Tax Manager level.

You'll be expected to operate with minimal supervision, deliver accurate and high-quality tax returns, provide technical guidance to the team, and serve as a trusted resource for complex U.S. tax matters.
